A World War One sea log of Lieutenant George Lee RNR, commencing 1st November 1914 until 13th October 1916, for H.M Trawler 'Gwenllian', H.M. Trawler 'Avon', H.M. Trawler 'Elk' and H.M. Trawler 'Scooper'. Includes mention of mine sweeping off the east coast of England, mine sweeping in the Dardanelles including the sinking of HMS Triumph and aiding survivors, coming under fire near Suvla Bay, mail service, patrol off Soloniki Bay. Temporary assignment to H.M. Elk and eventual return to England on H.M. Scooper.
Lieutenant George Lee was twice mentioned in dispatches and was buried at sea on 3rd December 1916 whilst serving aboard H.M. Trawler 'Remarko'. Includes photograph of Lt. Lee
